The mission of Kids’ Runway for Research is to raise awareness and support for the Nemours Center for Childhood Cancer Research while providing childhood cancer survivors the opportunity to “shine”.
Kids Runway for Research is a non-profit organization with 501(c)(3) status held by the Delaware Community Foundation. The event is a fun-filled fashion show presenting clothing from local boutiques and modeled by pediatric cancer survivors. The show is held every September in conjunction with Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The majority of the proceeds from the show go directly to Nemours Center for Childhood Cancer Research with a percentage going to a recipient who is also involved in pediatric cancer.
